SAVE THE DATE! - New Professionals Workshop

ASCA, BACHA, and MCPA are excited to announce that we will, once again, be hosting the New Professionals Workshop this summer! This year, the workshop will take place on August 8, 2013 at The Conference Center at Bentley University.
This workshop is designed for new professionals, new residence directors and new student conduct professionals. Workshops cover relevant residence life-related and conduct-related topics.

Have an idea? Submit a proposal! Topics may include (but are not limited to):

• Managing work/life balance
• Effective sanctioning (student conduct)
• Moving up in the field of student affairs/higher education
• Getting involved in professional associations (panel/roundtable discussion)
• Supervising (graduate students, RAs, etc)
• Building relationships with colleagues on and off campus/networking
• Legal issues in student conduct
• Managing crises
• How to run an effective student conduct hearing
